Our mission statement says that, Harvey Oaks Baptist Church exists for the glory of God by producing followers of Jesus Christ - one life at a time - throughout Omaha and the world."  Through our prayers, financial gifts, time, and talents, we encourage strengthen, and support our ministries at home and missionaries around the world. 

Ministries at Home

Harvey Oaks Baptist desires to be a dynamic community of faith that impacts the neighborhoods near us by living, modeling, and communicating authentic faith in Jesus Christ.  In Omaha we support New Creations, Release Ministries, and Grace University .

Missionaries Around the World

At Harvey Oaks Baptist, our vision is to help unreached people groups across the globe experience Jesus by empowering Christian leaders with a passionate love for God to serve Him in creative ministry opportunities.  Human and felt needs vary from one culture to another, so a single strategy does not work everywhere.  With each unreached people group the appropriate need-based ministry for the community helps open doors to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ.  Examples of such humanitarian ministries include providing veterinary or health care, water and agricultural development, teaching conversational English, or family and marriage enrichment.  Through the Baptist General Conference we support missionary families in the Argentina , Cameroon , Canada , Ecuador , USA ,  Senegal , and the Philippines .

Short-Term Missions

At Harvey Oak Baptist, we believe that working together is the most efficient way of getting the job done.  We combine our efforts and resources with those of other churches and missions groups at home and abroad short-term projects.  If you feel God leading you to participate in a short-term missions project, please contact the church office at 402-333-7333 for information.
