2:42 Alliance
2:42 refers to Acts 2:42 which says, “they devoted themselves to the apostle’s teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.”  Alliance refers to Eccl. 4:12 which says, “though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves.  A cord of three strands is not easily broken.”

Starting on May 1st and going until August 31st I want to have dinner with each of the parents in the Family Ministry.  The goal of this is to    1) create fellowship, 2) find out how I can be a help to you as parents, and 3) pray for you as parents. Please contact me to set up when and where you’d like to meet (you choose time and place). 

The possible dates are:  May 1, 15, 20, 23, 27; June 3, 5, 7, 10, 24, 27; July 11, 26; August 1, 5, 8, 12, 15, 19, 22, 26, 29    

Senior Banquet
On Sunday, May 18th we will be having our Senior Banquet to honor our graduating High School Seniors beginning at 12pm.  If you have a senior please contact me and let me know how many from  your family will be attending.  It will be at the Valentino’s on 132nd and Center; the Seniors will be paid for but everyone else needs to pay for themselves. If you’d like to come to honor our Seniors please RSVP to me.    

Camps
High School Camp is June 15th - 21st.  The cost is $230 a student if you register by May 19th.  Cost goes up $25 after that.
Jr High Camp is July 20th - 25th.  The cost is $170 a student if you register by June 2nd.  Cost goes up $25 after that.  To register contact Woogy.  Financial assistance is available.   

Worlds of Fun
The Youth Group is going to Worlds of Fun on Tuesday, July 15th.  The cost is $40 a student and the deadline to sign up is June 30th.
